Twill tape, grosgrain, binding tape, edge binding — in practice these are all the same light tape 20–25 mm, just named differently by different trades. We weave it at our own mill in Kharkiv, operating since 2008: cotton, polyamide, polyester, polypropylene, in-house dyeing to any color, pattern printing. One of our highest-volume lines — shipped every month to makers of tactical gear, bags and workwear. The prices below come from actual shipments.
This tape is hard to search for because mills and buyers use different vocabularies. On the loom it is a weave construction, in our price list it is "binding tape", in search it is "twill" or "grosgrain". Here is the plain version, so you know you are in the right place.
Strictly speaking, twill tape is a twill weave with a diagonal rib. Twill gives density and abrasion resistance, which is why this tape goes into ties, labels and seam reinforcement. We do run twill constructions, including broken twill.
A rep weave gives transverse ribs and a flat, dense surface that holds print well. That is exactly the rib you see on most of our narrow tapes — which is why printed patterns come out undistorted.
This name is not about the weave at all — it is about the job: enclosing the raw fabric edge of a product. Same light tape, named after what it does. In our own price list it is "binding tape".
This is not a "price on request" list: the table shows items we produce serially, with prices from actual shipments of recent months. The exact price depends on color, volume and finishing — we confirm it with an invoice the same day.

Binding tape is supplied piece-dyed in a solid color, with a printed camo pattern, or with a water-repellent finish. All of it is done at our own mill, no subcontractors — which is why the binding matches the webbing from the same order exactly.
Dyed in-house with instrumental color matching: X-Rite Color i7 spectrophotometer, ΔE control. Our highest-volume shades are coyote, black, olive and grey — the working colors of tactical gear. The palette holds 48 shades, including tactical AMS-STD-595 and RAL, and to order we match any color per Pantone, RAL or your physical sample (from 1,000 m per batch).
48-color palette →Printed in-house: MultiCam-type, MM-14 pixel and "predator" patterns. Binding in the same pattern as the main fabric is exactly what gear manufacturers usually look for — the edge does not stand out as a contrasting stripe. We also print your logo or a custom pattern, with a pre-production sample for approval.
Water-repellent finishing on a Jakob Müller line — the only one in Ukraine: the product edge does not wick moisture. Winding: 50 m rolls or spools up to Ø800 mm with an intact core for automatic unwinding lines — the roll goes onto the line without rewinding.
Price my project →Pick a color and you will see it on real tape from our production. It is a photograph of white tape, recolored: the weave, the shadow and the sheen stay real.
Binding tape is not load-bearing; its job is different — to close the raw fabric edge so it does not fray or tear along the seam. Below are the segments we ship to every month.
Chest rigs, pouches, MOLLE panels, plate carriers. Our largest segment — coyote, olive and printed patterns.
Binding on internal seams, pockets, flaps and edges — wherever there is no lining and the raw edge must be enclosed.
Work and uniform sets: binding on plackets, pockets and hems, edge reinforcement in high-wear areas.
Technical covers, tarps, special packaging: perimeter binding holds the edge shape and protects the seam from splitting.
Collars, harnesses, leashes: soft binding does not chafe and encloses the cut edge of the base webbing.
Trim and binding on covers, mattresses and soft elements — a clean edge without overlocking.
We work with manufacturers and workshops. No middleman margins — you buy directly from the weaving mill.
Width, color, footage. Not sure which width you need — describe the product and the thickness of the fabric package, we will select it.
Invoice the same day. On request we send a physical sample of the tape and color.
Bank transfer. Minimum order — 50 m ex stock, custom color — from 1,000 m.
Same-day dispatch for orders paid before 15:00; courier delivery across Ukraine and to the EU. Production to order — from 7 days.
Specify width, color and footage — we will send an invoice and a sample. If you need binding to match your webbing, say so and we will supply both from one dye batch.
