Why only we can do this

Equipment no one else in Ukraine has

A few companies in Ukraine dye technical tape in two or three standard colors — with no color matching or correction. We work differently: the full color cycle happens in-house, from recipe to instrumental control.

Color lab

Instrumental color matching

Color is measured with an X-Rite Color i7 benchtop spectrophotometer — the top instrument of the X-Rite range (X-Rite owns Pantone) — in CIE Lab coordinates, and the recipe is corrected by ΔE, not "by eye". Visual assessment and metamerism control take place in a VeriVide light booth with standardized illuminants. Any reference format: Pantone, RAL, Lab, AMS-STD-595 (FS 595) or a physical sample.

Jakob Müller finishing line

A webbing finishing and impregnation line by the Swiss Jakob Müller group: water-repellent, oil-repellent and technical coatings are applied right on our shop floor — no subcontractors, no color degradation.

Automatic winding up to Ø800 mm

A European automatic winding machine builds an even roll on a spool with an intact core — it goes straight onto an automatic unwinding line. Cheap winding tables chew up the core, making such rolls unusable for automation.

20 tactical colors per AMS-STD-595

AMS-STD-595 is the current US color standard, successor to Federal Standard 595. Below are the reference CIE Lab coordinates (D65/2°) we dye to under instrumental control. This is a sample of our capabilities — we dye to any shade per your reference.

On accuracy. Lab values follow AMS-STD-595 references (D65/2°). On-screen colors are indicative: a monitor cannot reproduce fabric color. Final conformity is confirmed with a physical lab dyeing on your webbing type, measured on a spectrophotometer — sample shipped free of charge.
How it works

From reference to production — 4 steps

Full color cycle in-house. No subcontractors, no "roughly similar" imports.

01

Reference

You provide a Pantone, RAL, Lab value, an AMS-STD-595 / FS 595 number, or a physical color sample.

02

Recipe

The lab calculates a dyeing recipe for your webbing type (PA, PES, PP).

03

Lab dyeing + ΔE

We dye a trial sample, measure it on the spectrophotometer and correct until it matches the reference.

04

Production

We dye batches from 1000 m. If needed — finishing (Jakob Müller line) and winding on spools up to Ø800 mm.

Questions & answers

Color and coatings

Can you match an exact Pantone or RAL color?
Yes. We are the only narrow-fabric mill in Ukraine with in-house dyeing and instrumental color matching: color is measured with an X-Rite Color i7 benchtop spectrophotometer (X-Rite owns Pantone) in CIE Lab coordinates and corrected by ΔE, with visual assessment in a VeriVide light booth. We accept Pantone, RAL, Lab, AMS-STD-595 (FS 595) references or a physical sample.
How long does a new color take?
Technically — from 1 day: dyeing happens at our own mill, nothing travels to subcontractors. A production batch including weaving — from 7 days.
What is the minimum order for a custom color?
Custom color — batches from 1000 m (minimum dyeing volume). Standard colors from stock — from 50 m.
What is AMS-STD-595 and why Lab coordinates?
AMS-STD-595 is the current US color standard, successor to Federal Standard 595 (FS 595), defining references like Coyote Brown, OD Green, FDE and Ranger Green. Lab coordinates are the objective "passport" of a color: we dye to them and verify conformity instrumentally rather than "by eye".
Can you apply a water- or oil-repellent coating?
Yes — on the Jakob Müller webbing finishing line, the only one in Ukraine. The coating is applied right at our mill, on already-dyed webbing.
How is webbing supplied for automatic lines?
We wind onto spools up to 800 mm in diameter on a European automatic winding machine — the only one in Ukraine. An even roll with an intact core goes onto automatic unwinding without rework — no splice waste, no line stops.
